Training courses offered through the NJRA Redevelopment Training Institute have been approved by the Northeastern Economic Developers Association (NEDA) as qualifying courses for its Economic Development Professional (EDP) program. The EDP designation recognizes significant professional education and/or experience in the field of economic development or closely related disciplines. Candidates must meet a number of requirements including, but not limited to, experience, accomplishments and professional education. NJRA RTI’s redevelopment courses, including workshops, are recognized as advanced credit topics for a candidate seeking either initial EDP recognition or EDP renewal. Students that have already taken courses will be given the appropriate credit toward the EDP designation. The Northeastern Economic Developers Association is dedicated to the advancement of professionalism in the field of economic development and encourages its members to maintain the highest professional skills in order to improve the economy of Students interested in obtaining the EDP designation can review the requirements at www.nedaonline.org/EconomicDevelopmentProfessional.asp .
