NJRA Municipal Consultation
The New Jersey Redevelopment Authority (NJRA) offers Municipal Consultations in-person as well as virtually via Zoom. The Municipal Consultation is geared toward providing municipalities with technical assistance on their specific redevelopment needs. The consultation is provided by leading industry experts using an interdisciplinary approach in the field of planning and development to help municipalities assess the feasibility and the best approach to the redevelopment of a specific project in their town.
NJRA staff facilitates Municipal Consultations to further strengthen the relationship with our municipal partners and to create an opportunity for them to have first-hand access to the NJRA Board, state departments, and nonprofit agencies to present proposed redevelopment projects. During the Municipal Redevelopment Discussions (MRD), each municipality can identify its needs for financial assistance, resources, and/or additional technical assistance. This process provides municipalities with the opportunity to secure funding and support that are necessary to overcome the challenges of advancing needed redevelopment projects in their communities. The NJRA Municipal Consultation will utilize a case study approach where applicable.

We offer a series of NJRA Training Institute Core Workshops, in addition to sessions that reflect relevant topics that will address changes in the real estate and redevelopment market.

NJRA Customized Training
The New Jersey Redevelopment Authority (NJRA) offers Customized Training. Our Customized Training offers the same expert instruction as our public sessions but is conducted at your preferred location or via the utilization of virtual meeting spaces. We will assess your redevelopment goals and develop materials and a customized course based on your needs. This training provided through NJRA will enable your development staff to acquire skills that will promote growth and knowledge to facilitate redevelopment activities in your communities. The NJRA Customized Training will utilize a case study approach where applicable.
